I attended the 2012 International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) held in Hilton Hotel, San Francisco. It took me another 5 years to visit the city again to attend the same conference in 2017 with my own paper.

The first time in Hawaii was back in 1989 with my parents and my younger brother. I can't remember back then but I the memory only stays with old pictures..
I stayed in O'ahu island, Hawaii for a week in June 2014. I attended the 2014 Symposium on VLSI Technology and after the conference, I stayed for another few days to take a tour around the island.
Helicopter tour and the Pearl Harbor tour really were very impressive.
