I visited Prague twice, in 2006 and 2008.
It was the first European city for me to travel around except Paris, where I had to stay for few hours in the airport before transferring to the plane bound for Prague.
I loved Prague so much in 2006 so I visited again in 2008.
Cesky Krumlov is also a very beautiful city few hours drive away from Prague. The view from the top of the castle is terrific!
Hungary 헝가리
(2006) Budapest
I couldn't foget the Hungarian Goulash which I really loved. Budapest had beautiful view along the Danube River and specifically the view from the Fisherman's Bastion was magnificent!
Austria 오스트리아
(2006,2008) Hallstatt | Salzburg
(2006) Vienna
Along with Salzburg, Hallstatt is also one of few cities I've re-visited in 2008, 2 years after the first visit. Surrounded by mountains and the lake, the village is just like a fairy tale village.
Although small, Salzburg is filled with Mozart everywhere. The river across the city adds a beautiful scenery to the city.
Poland 폴란드
(2006) Oswiecim
Notorious Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz is located in Oswiecim. It reminded me of the cruelites of Nazis and the silimar war crime commited by the Japanese army.
The sentence written on the main gate, "ARBEIT MACHT FREI", or "Work makes you free" still remains, welcoming the visitors.
